Hamza Rashid is an associate in the Corporate Group. His practice covers a broad range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, carve-outs, securities offerings, joint ventures and other complex transactions. He also advises clients on a range of governance, securities and commercial law matters.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Hamza served as M&A counsel at Cvent, a software business affiliated with private equity fund Blackstone, where he helped source, close and integrate numerous acquisitions. He began his career as a corporate associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP.
Hamza has extensive experience helping investment managers and their portfolio companies acquire for growth.
He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was a scholarship recipient, and his B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, from George Mason University.
